Best place to load Program Files with Vista.

When using Windows XP-SP2, I have always tried to keep C Drive just for Windows + Drivers and have loaded Documents and Program Files on to D Drive.

Shortly I will be setting up a new rig with Vista 64 bit, does anyone have any recommendations regards loading Programs Files etc?

I don't think it makes a big difference. I only have the single 150GB partition and all my games go into the "Program Files (x86)" directory.

i prefer just 1 partition per os, it should be fine doing the same as before though. i used to have an os partition and a data one and i just didnt like it.

The only advantage I can see in partitions is that it's easier to reinstall Windows without wiping out your data. There's no performance advantage at all because it's the same drive.
