Best player outside the prem?

Curtis Davies (Wolves) looks like a decent defender.

LOL Frank are you trying to anger the black country supporters, he plays for WBA. :p

But I agree, hence why he has been constantly linked to a big money move away to either Spurs or L'Arse.

Raziak was a panic buy as Spurs needed cover for Mido at the end of last summers transfer window. Nowhere near good enough for the Prem imo.

Joking aside, I reckon Koumas could be if he sorted his head out.
Good call, my Uncle is best mates with Geoff Horsefield and he said Koumas was the most skilled player he's trained with.

but to be fair to him he wasn't given too much of a chance - and he is good enough for a slightly lesser team no question i would say - he would be playing for watford no questions - probably higher teams too.

to be honest each club has one, two - sometimes three that are nearly prem class - it's just a matter of getting the right opportunity at the right club and time. --> but alas most get priced out of decent moves.

look at lescott - he was expensive but is doing well - so may others could make it but are prevented from it, giving way to foreign players!

i would even go so far as to say there is one player in every championship club that would make it in the premiership.

look at doyle and sidwell - top performers now but no one really wanted to know last year

you get the impression with koumas that he is suited to championship football - more space in some areas to do his stuff and with the rough and tumble he stands out - wither that or he needs to be in a top 6 team - but no chance of him getting that sort of a move!

It's his attitude that lets him down imo.

Oops, apologies! Guess I should be reading up about the Championship for next season anyway. :( :p

Which we will, its just a question of whether its 1st or 2nd place ;) :p

Never really got a decent run in the side at Spurs so it would be unfair to judge him on that. He can certainly find the net though.
