Hi Guys.

I have done this in the past but just off my own back and never really researched it, well tomorrow i am getting these:

2 x BeQuiet SilentWing USC 140mm

3 x BeQuiet SilentWing USC 120mm Fan

1 x NZXT Sentry LX LCD Fan Controller

... oh and some thermal paste lol.

I intend to replace the intake and exhaust fan on my case which is shown here - Thermaltake Armor+ LCS VH600LBWS

Also i intend to add two 140mm fans to the bottom. Now the FAQ and stuff on the thermal take site says to have them sucking air in from the bottom, however given than air is coming in from the top too isnt this just going to flow poorly?

The air is flowing into the front of the case and out the back fine. But i was thinking of having the fans in top pull cool air in and the two 140mm on the bottom to push hot air out so that overall air is coming in the front and top and out the back and bottom. This gives a better airflow in my mind but am i an idiot?

Furthermore when placing temp sensors where is best to put them? I got thermal grease incase i decided to put it actually in the CPU and GPU block between the chip and cooler but now im thinking thats stupid as it will effect cooling so where should i put these sensors?

Many thanks in advance guys. :D

Post from other thread - Best case fan around?

(Whilst i have your attention i have a Thermaltake armour+ LCS case which is a really nice case in all honesty, best i've ever had but all in all the LCS part is simply a Thermaltake Bigwater liquid cooling system slotted into the two 5" bays at the front. I bought an extra 120mm fan to replace the stock thermaltake fan on that Bigwater thing, you recon its possible to do so?)

So when i fit the replacement fan for the stock fan on top of the radiator i should have it above the radiator blowing upwards drawing air out?

Seriously guys, i have this fan controller atm and 5 fans to go in my case.

Please tell me where is best to put the temp sensors.

Also in an effort to have the fans at the top blowing the hot rising air out i am looking to turn the fan around on the Bigwater liquid cooling system

However i also want to add a fan below it, is there a 5.25" mounting bracket that will allow me to position another 120mm fan below my radiator to blow air up over it?

Cheers.
