Best price to performance ratio of current GPU's

I'd go for 2* GTX 480's. Crushes a single GTX 580 and is only £30 more.

If you can get them for that price, most places seem to be trying to sell new 480's for £300+?

If your asking if you should spend another £100 on a GTX580 over a GTX570 that would suggest your looking for value in which case your barking up the wrong tree if your so much as considering it. People who buy the GTX580 don't really care about value and just want the best performance so if I were you I would stick with a single 570 or get 2 560's in SLI or maybe a Radeon alternative in Crossfire.

Go for the 570 you wont regret it and later on you can upgrade to SLI with another 570

+1 for GTX 570, if you get a good brand, with voltage tweaks, they can be overclocked to near/par GTX 580 speeds...

Two copies of Dirt 3 and two copies of Deus Ex thown in the mix which are easily sellable for around the £64 which means for £200 you can beat a card which costs double.

I'd go for the 570 (have one too). I doubt you'd see a massive difference. As you say you can always add another one in SLI later on. Fact is, the 570 runs everything on max today so save yourself a few quid, I'd say.
