best proggy for getting dvd's to divx?

looking to copy some of my older dvd's to my hard drive, these don't have copyright, what is the best proggy to use for this? i don't mind paying a fee for the package, but would prefer a freeware proggy

DrDivx usually does the trick, or Dvd Shrink, Gordian Knot.

thanks will try that, they are non copyright family stuff, so just wanna store it and do away with the discs
