Best program for recovering HDD data?

hey all, iv tried lots of programs but they are all demos meaning I cant copy my lost data, iv tried GetDataBack for NTFS which seems to be the best but its just a trial and I cant do much. Anyone know of a good program where I can get my data back for free.

I've used O&O DiskRecovery with great success on hard disks, floppies and ZIPs. :cool:

EDIT: Sorry - just read the bit about it being free. It's not.

Last week I used GetDataBack on a mates computer who formatted his storage drive by accident, but it isn't free though

I don't know any free apps though, but try the suggested O&O DiskRecovery

I don't know about any free programs or ones with a 14 day trial etc. (who would ever buy them) I like Easy recovery pro although it costs a bloody fortune. Even still, downloading it from a torrent site would be illegal, so don't do it.
