Whats the best program to use to download music legally and put on mp3 player + player say on WMP 10 and stuff.

Ive been looking @ napster and itunes, can anyone recommend these or what do you use and what is the price?

It depends what mp3 player you have or are looking at, if you want an iPod then you can only use iTunes and if you want a playsforsure MP3 player then you can use Napster, or other playsforsure services, however, if the mp3 player doesnt support any kind of DRM, then you pretty much back to basics of not being able to use either or most other services.

iTunes and WMP10 are not compatable i.e. You have to use one or the other with your mp3 not both and most only work with WMP10 as iTunes only accepts iPod's and iTunes mobiles.

Its just awful, the format the store uses, cost of songs, and the ui is a disgrace. Drag and drop beats using any program but ipods are the only mp3 players that dont seem to be able to do that.

I just have folders of music sorted by artist, very easy to navigate, very fast, and saves having to start up the player first to find the song you want.

Ditto... I scream MURDER when WMP11 tries to auto library my music....!

I'm in the same boat.

I've got an iPod and am looking for the cheepest and of course, legal ;) way to fill it up :D

iTunes media library seems pretty good, aside from not having every single track that I would like to have, but at £0.79 a track, I would have hoped for slightly better value. Napstar is very tempting, £9.95 a month to download as much as you want! But apparrently, if you cancel your membership, you won't be able to play the tracks anymore! Is this true?

Are there any other programs/sites I haven't thought of?

Cheers
