That doesn't make a lot of sense to me. You don't want Akasa because an Antec died?

OCZ Modstream then or an FSP would be my suggestions.
sorry that was a typo, im always getting confused between akasa and antec, my case is antec, PSU is akasa :p

ok looking at the OCZ, if i went £10 more for the 520W, would it be better then the

FSP Sparkle Blue Storm 2 500W ATX2.0 PSU

for the same price?

and whats the difference between ATX2.0 and ATX2.2? which is better/i need?

I have had the 520W Modstream OCZ for a few months now and its ace tbh. No problems what so ever, however modular cables can be a pain depending on your setup/case.

are the rails etc all ok? as on my current akasa the 12v runs at like 11.24 or something sometimes

modular meaning you can unplug cables you dont need, right? well my case is always a mess :p so i dont mind either way

ok well have decided to stretch to £70 and get

Corsair HX 520W ATX2.2 Modular SLI Compliant PSU (CMPSU-520HXUK)

as ive heard so many good things about them, and dont want to be changing PSU when/if i ever upgrade

im assuming 520W will be enough for 1 card, even a DX10 card? (Dont think ill EVER need 2 cards)
