Best PSU for high-end Haswell System

I am after a new PSU which ideally will be virtually silent (aside from the odd low fan noise). It is used in a fairly silent build, so no capacitor whine or buzz (especially not when not even powered on).

I've actually already built most of it...

i7 4770K
16GB RAM (need recommendations for this, as my current Corsair XMS3 9-9-9-24 won't run at XMP)
Asus Deluxe/Dual Z87
HD 6990 (re-using)
SSDs x 5
Creative ZxR (but RMAing due to distortion issues)
H100i cooler

all inside a Corsair Carbide 540 case.

My current PSU is 1200W Corsair AX, but emits loud capacitor whine when on, and when powered off (but still connected to mains) it emits a high frequency which is obnoxiously audible in my room.

I have no budget really, I just want something that works flawlessly without noise, ideally!

Our High Current Pro PSU's are very very quiet (to silent) trust me you won't be dissapointed.

Not only that, but they are the most reliable and stable units on the market - there is a reason 8 Pack always uses the High Current Pro in his benchmarking, and his last few world record wins were using this PSU.

No better recommendation than high-requirement users using the product then!

Thanks, i'll give the Antec a whirl, hopefully it'll be a good'un :D

My Seasonic X-760 never makes a sound. I don't even know when the fan comes on. Certainly never any buzzes, whines, or ticks.

I own 3 Seasonic Gold, X650 (gen1), X650 (gen2) and X1050.

Never hear the fans ever, there is next to no dust on PSU intake filters. Never hear any capacitor wine ever. Worth mentioning however all 3 PSU's are in systems that barely even use half there power limit, but all still dead silent to me.

Also worth mentioning, my first X650 replaced a 600w OCZ unit. I was able to undervolt the CPU better, can only assume the extra stability of the Seasonic over the OCZ was allowing this.

Nothing like a bit of choice!!

I'll bear with the Antec for now, so I can shoot Ace Modder if it doesn't work :p (Kidding!).

Whilst i'm here, any advice on suitable/recommended RAM for Z87 and i7 4770K?
