Hi guys

Can someone recommend and quiet pump and reservoir and block Im a noob at this as ive always used the swiftech h320 and all I done is either change the tubing or the radiator

Any recommendation appreciated as this will go into a corsair 540 and cool a 5930k and maybe a gpu in future

Cheers Derek

The D5 pumps are pretty much inaudible on low. Just got the ek-xtop pwm version.

For a combined res/pump is this any good https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=WC-411-EK&groupid=962&catid=2141

What size rad do you want? bigger the better. Do you have fans?

Cpu block

360 rad, you can get thinner ones if you wish.

Side note, seem to have lost my display basket bookmark . sorry.

Thanks very much, does the cpu block come with the 2011 fitments? Ive got a 240mm radiator and noise-blocker nb-eloop fans already

does the cpu block come with the 2011 fitments?

CPU socket compatibility:
- Intel LGA-775
- Intel LGA-1150/1155/1156
- Intel LGA-1366
- Intel LGA-2011

For reference the aren't really any 2011 fittings, the thumb screw setup for the block just screws into the 2011 backplate instead of having to use the blocks own backplay like 115x sockets.

Using a EK 4.0 PWM Pump seperate res can't fault this Pump for the price £39, using Asus Suite III to control the pump set to silent mode the pump is very quiet.

The only time l hear the pump is if l restart my PC or on power up, when idling pump is about 850rpm gaming BF4 around 1200rpm maximum pump rpm 2100rpm.

The main thing to having a quiet loop is having enough radiators or radiator to dissapate the heat so you can use low rpm fans what ever the room ambient temperature gets and pump speed stays low making very little noise.

See Sig for my loop spec -Prolimatech Blue Vortex Blue Wings 140mm 1000rpm fans 18db + Phobya 560 rad giving a very quiet custom loop.

I'm needing to change my NB-eLoop 2000rpm pwm fans as they are not as quiet as I would like do you recommend any other low rpm fans that are virtually silent
