best ram for asus striker ii extreme

i have an asus striker ii extreme ready for my next pc build. i havent brought the other parts yet,so i wonder what is the best available ram for this mobo.

i am not normally a fan of g skill ram but i am considering G.Skill Ripjaw 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-16000C9 2000MHz Dual Channel Kit (F3-16000CL9D-4GBRH)

or stick with the try and tested Corsair Dominator XMS3 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 1600C9D Twin3X (TW3X4G1600C9D)

i wanted to know can i use the full speed of the g skill ram as i have had problems with overclocking ram to its normal speed before on my evga 750i ***. if not neither then any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

intel core 2 quad q9650 or q9550
asus striker ii extreme (got)
8 gig of whatever is the best ram
2* 9800gtx (got), maybe a 9600gt for physic but i dont think its worth it
Asus Xonar D2X 7.1
Be Quiet! Dark Power Pro 850W/1000W depending on how much i got
antec 902 case (got)

thats why i wanted task will the G.Skill Ripjaw work, because ocz memory had screwed up my evga board before and i refuse to let it happen again.

i am leaning towards overclocking the corsair ddr3 1600mhz ones to 2000. but to be honest i will be happy if i can get it past 1800!

i wouldnt go over 1.9v, i think its too risky.
