Best recent singleplayer games

for Me its HL2

also theres Doom3 and Quake 4

I know they are not that recent (been around a few years) but until we get all the new releases this year I'll have to say these.

Actually playing through doom 3 again atm :) played quake 4, and HL2 for me personally boring and crappy :p

I personally thought HL2 was the better game, although don't like these episode things, as soon as you start to get into it its over.
 
Call of Juarez, £4.99 new with free postage. Nice graphics and some excellent gameplay. Just love the animations on models when shooting or punching them :)

Seconded! How about the CoD games, MoHAA. Did you play FEAR Extraction Point?
 
CoH is THE best SP game I have played this year so far on the PC.

Command and Conquer: Tiberium Wars was also a complete blast, well worth looking at if you havent played it yet.

Was expecting more of Supreme Commander, but it was still very good.

Arma looked good, but I gave up with it after a short period of time, too many glitches......could have been excellent but wasnt. :(
 
I enjoyed playing Fahrenheit Aka known as Indigo Prophecy. If you not played it you should definitely check it out.
