Best remote for HTPC

As per title really.. I'm going to start using my HTPC soon for watching TV and films, its on Windows 7 and its running MediaPortal. Its all good to go apart from the remote!

So.. Which is the best one for MediaPortal? ie easiest to configure, most features etc. I've seen the Microsoft one, but they seem to have stopped making them apparently!

Microsofts offering isn't too bad for the price. Can be gotten from auction sites cheap. Also can be used on the xbox 360. If not get a logitech one they have some pretty cool ones.

Maybe the xbox one would work if you got the MS IR reciever.

Ah.. Just found one on the auction site! I looked yesterday but the only ones on there were from Hong Kong! :)

Edit: Damn its a Dell one not a MS one! :(
 
Most people who I know with HTPCs have wireless keyboards, I myself use the logitech mini DiNovo which is barely any bigger than a remote control,

and several of my friends use the keysonic wireless keyboard which is ideal for HTPCs and relatively cheap.

Both of these have a keyboard and mouse pad which gives you far more control than the media centre remote would :)
