I think I'm finally at my wits end of having to uninstall the "new" Outlook App every time I want to read my email just to stop it hijacking the Windows Mail App.

I can't be the only person on here to have more than one email address, so what mail clients are everyone else using these days?

em client was my favourite client while on Windows. Only two email addresses for the free version but I thought it was well worth the subscription.

Thunderbird now I'm permanently on Linux. Evolution is a decent option too.

The old mail app was semi decent, and with no ads
Had the outlook (new) app force install and taken over the mail app and always displaying the top "mail" as an ad.

Nope
Uninstalled immediately
I will do without the app then :)

Thunderbird/K9 is an app that relies on IMAP or POP3 , also caching emails offline so you can view emails or write up a draft and it'll send automatically once the connection restored. Good for the laptop on the move IE, train, tube or plane etc.

Gmail is a web based mail. Very different
