Hi guys
Ive just had fibre installed today and my isp,s router ( hg633 /talktalk ) is ok .. getting 75mbps download and 19mbps upload however whats the best 3rd party vdsl fibre router ( with built in modem ) for under £50
i know vdsl routers are more expensive than adsl routers but i just need a better one than the supplied super router
that said many TT customers complained their wifi speed was half of the wired speed .. i just ran a speed test from my tablet ( im on a 80mbps connection ) and got 67mbps download and 18mbps upload so cant complain !
any idea,s
cheers guys

Why do you want to replace something that you haven't found an issue with?

I wouldn't bother trying to replace it on a £50 budget.

Why would you want to spend £50 to replace hardware that you admit is working fine and you can't complain about? If it's just because someone else moaned about it then that doesn't make much sense, unless you're really want to follow the heard just because it makes you feel better in some way?

Fix/replace/upgrade when it's needed or makes financial sense to do so, forcing an upgrade with no need on a budget that's too low when what you have by your own admission works well for you doesn't seem like a good idea. The cheapest option i'd recommend is £65ish new eg TP Link W9980 or a Billion BiPAC 8800NL.
