Best RPG?

Hate to say this so early after it's release but Oblivion is perhaps the best RPG I've played.

Others that deserve a mention:

Baldurs Gate (I preferred 1 to 2)
Morrowind
Betrayal at Krondor
the old Bards Tale games

and WoW if online ones count ;)
 
My personal faves are still the old SNES RPGs from SquareSoft.

Final Fantasy 3(6)
Chrono Trigger
Secret of Mana 1/2

Can you believe that all but one of the above were never picked for release in Europe? Shocking...
