I have played and loved the above many times and think they are all great.

Can't say I agree with that. Play KOTOR or the others that have ben listed and you'll see.

How the hell did I miss Diablo and Arcanum. Love them both. Was hooked on D2 for years. Still got an acc with a full tals sorc, used to love mf running (d2 losers like me will understand that)

and the soundtrack is great

FF7 is amazing, the story is so compelling, yes the graphics are dated now but were truly on the bleeding edge when it first came out.

Hope they make the PS3 version

Not really played many RPG's but KOTOR totally blew me away, never managed to get into the second one and didnt like Oblivion.

Final Fantasy 7, easily the best RPG ever

IMO of course, wish they'd do it for the PS3, the techdemo is mouth watering

Zelda OOT, WW and by remarks the new TP are well worth looking at too. They're more RPG-Adventure than pure RPGs, but OOT is considered one of the best games of all time, and its almost 10 years old

KOTOR1/2 are great. Good games for relative RPG novices.
