I found a program called Klipfolio a while back and have been using it since as a RSS reader. It's a widget program, but it allows you to create a new "Klip" by copying the RSS FeedViewer. I've got at least 9 different feeds updating every 5 mins, as well as the GoogleMail klip checking for email.

It's totally free of course. I'd recommend it :)

EDIT: Meant to say, that I'd been looking for a very simple basic reader program for ages, I've been using one called "Sage" for Firefox, but far prefer Klipfolio.

i tried klipfolio but as i said before i have like 50+ rss feeds so having all of them on my nice and tidy desktop isnt a good idea its a cool and lite on the memory program just sadly not what i want tryying out rss bandit atm not a major fan so used to netvibes th all in tabs etc =(
