as the title says realy just woundering what you guys use as im begginging to be sick of netvibes .......

If you have a Google account, they have an online RSS reader which does the job. I don't know if it's any 'good' as it's the only one I've used. I only started using RSS about 3 weeks ago. :)

netvibes is better btw used the google one im wanting an external reader as i have somthing along the lines of 50+ sites needing to be constantly refreshd..... and netvibes im finding is terribly slow ......

I found a program called Klipfolio a while back and have been using it since as a RSS reader. It's a widget program, but it allows you to create a new "Klip" by copying the RSS FeedViewer. I've got at least 9 different feeds updating every 5 mins, as well as the GoogleMail klip checking for email.

It's totally free of course. I'd recommend it :)

EDIT: Meant to say, that I'd been looking for a very simple basic reader program for ages, I've been using one called "Sage" for Firefox, but far prefer Klipfolio.

Google Reader.

The problem with Sage and other programs like that is they only snag the last 15 or so items from a feed, so if you go a day or two without checking you'll only get say the last 15 entries when there could have been 100+ on some of my feeds. The beauty of Google Reader is that it constantly updates and caches feeds all the time, even when you're not at a computer, so when you next login you can see every item you've missed. Also Google Reader saves the history of feeds so you can go back and find articles you want to read again. Of course with it being online you can check your feeds on any computer or your phone.

I strongly suggest giving it a try if you're used to PC based apps for something like this.
