Meh, Generals comes in for a lot of stick, but I really like it. I still have a lot of nostalgia for RA, and RA2 plays a lot more fluidly, but Generals is still a cracking game. I've never played Starcraft though

It's still TA for me but SC is very good. I might go try and find the cd later at some point.

Kree, is right though. SC has the biggest community out there and it's absolutely massive in korea, where professional gaming isn't a devalued occupation

I must say that I've not had much experience over Battlenet. But a few years back when me and some mates used to have regular LAN parties, this was the game we would end up playing all night!

iIts all each to their own, different people like different things in rts games. I dont agree with Kreeee telling people not to play games just cause he doesnt like them. I like all of them but my fave is RA2+ yuri's, never gets old.

Rome total war, It does not suffer from the tipical churn out troops while mining resources that every RTS seems to.

I like C&C RA2 and Dawn Of War is good for a quick game but gets old fast, AOE the original is the best IMO used to love playing that, never played generals or Starcraft.

Nothing beats abit of Cossacks + Art of war expansion pack. I played that for about 2 years before I fianlly go bored and even now I still go back for the odd game.

You cant beat a bit of zero hour head to head action.....fast paced and edge of the seat stuff if both players are good...roll on c&c3
