best sat nav for around £200

saw the tomtom1 in staples today for 199.99, so that may be better in terms of cost due to delivery(using the site above for a price reference).

The guy is from Northern Ireland, how many of you tomtom owners have tested it there?

He needs a system with navtech maps, not a tomtom.

Was in my local Halfrauds today and they have it for £199 also.

I feel an "early" Xmas present coming on. :p

I like the interface of the Tomtom but does th new Tomtom ones have full postcode look up?

I went for the Navi 300 in the end cause of full postcode search and compact size.

you should edit that comp out :p

I ordered the TomTom One V1 a few days ago. Took a bit of searching to find somewhere that had them in stock and at a cheap (£191.50) price. TomTom web lists it at £279.99.

Did a bit of searching around and found the One v1 has a faster processor (380mhz vs 266mhz), and some folk over at Pocketgpsworld seem to think it has better build quality. I'll let ya know when it arrives.
