Best savings account?

So yesterday i went from 347 in the queue down to 38 in the queue in the same day on the trading212 portfolio transfer

today its been a whole day and im still 38th in the queue

Maybe they update the queue status at the end of the day

Thats wierd..when I went from chip to T212 i think it was done in 24hrs, maybe 48hrs.

Is it T212 that are being slow or zoopla being slow?

Not sure but I think a lot of customers are leaving zopa for trading 212

Zopa have been aggressive in rate dropping so I can see why a load of people want to jump ship

But as we pointed out in previous posts..there has been surge in drops. Also it's the end of the tax year so probably have a backlog of work to go through and tied up resource

Yeah some drop rates faster and harder than others depending on thier own business interests etc... but they will all roughly follow each other at the competetive end of the market.

I was about to pull all my liquid cash savings out of Oxbury as they dropped thier easy access savings to 4.2%...but when I logged in (to ditch them) I saw they would give me a rate of 4.8% which is pretty damn good for a standard savings account with no withdrawal penalties.
The only caviat with that is it's a 90 day notice account to make any withdrawals, but it happens that that doesn't really matter for me right now.

Money saving expert website is a great place for a pretty much zero effort way to find a better rate, but as always..it's worth casting your net wider and really shop around

Ok so my zopa to trading 212 ISA transfer is now finished in the queue..update now states they are processing and could take up to 2 weeks to transfer it to trading 212
