Best Sim ONLY deal with Data/Internet Included

I've been looking at the T-Mobile Solo sims - rolling 30 day contract that for £20 gets you 600 xnet mins and unlimited texts with a 1gig net use policy included :)

Am very tempted to move to that and get myself a phone sim free - just checking out other possible contract offers but the contracts all seem to require that you pay extra for the 1gig of monthly net usage (£5-7.50/month) ...

have a looksy at O2 Simplicity. they're also 1-month, rolling contracts so you're not tied down and their free minutes/texts are nice and generous. if get a high-enough package you get a free "bolt-on" which you can choose to be free internets :)

£20 a month on simplicity gets you the web bolt on, I've found this perfect for my needs, don't use all the texts but do most of the minutes, if you choose to commit to 12 months then the mins and texts increases.

im on this,

02 doing the simplicty £20 deal,12 month contract, 800 mins 1600 texts + bolt on, ie unlimited web, 200 more mins etc.

Bonus is quidco £70 , was £110 last week. so it makes it £14.16 a month.

Everytime I check out phone operators unlimited web, there always seems to be a 250Mb quota limit on it like O2 above have. 250Mb doesn't seem a lot especially if you are quite a regular user on the net via your phone.

Why not buy a PAYG iPhone online, then return under DSR. They will refund you for the iPhone, but not the SIM. You keep the SIM, top up as normal for your calls/texts, but get 12 months unlimited data for free. The Carphoen Warehouse confirmed it was kosher for me just to use the SIM with the original data plan.

I'm doing this now... not because I planned it this way, but the iPhone I had was faulty and I sent it back for a refund.

Weird thing is the O2 people at CPW told me that the unlimited net package I was being offered had a ceiling way way higher than I'd ever reach - I *think* the guy actually quoted something like 9 gigs :o

I'm unsure as to whether that's got a shred of truth to it but I am tempted to stay as they offered me a rolling monthly contract with 1600mins and unlimited texts + the net package for £20 ...
