Real world usage is what counts. I'm on a 15Mbit sync with 13000kbps profile and all the speedtest sites show anything from an on the money 12.5Mbit to an optimistic 14.5Mbit.

I wouldnt rely too much on speedtest.net, several times it has said my connection was 52mb.

My router syncs at 6mb.
