For the OP however DRAM would reduce drive wear.
I’m going to second a used Intel Optane drive as a better option for OP.Intel Optane drives whilst discontinued also have even better Endurance with the DC P5800X drive boasting 100 DWPD!
I’m a fan of the SN850X 2tb and own 2 of them.Are any dram equipped 2TB £100?
