Best Starwars FPS

Republic Commando is an excellent squad based fps, fantastic atmosphere and acting. If you want a silly lightsaber than go for Jedi Knight II.
 
Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast is certainly my favourite.

Though if you want to the best star wars game on PC, go for KOTOR :p
 
Here's my order from the games I've played:

Jedi Academy
Republic Commando
Jedi Outcast
Battlefront 2
Dark Forces 2
Battlefront

Jedi Academy is the only one I would class as a genuinely good game, although I know some people prefer Jedi Outcast. If you like platform games and can forgive poor level design (relative to the story) then that may be worth looking at.
 
My favs would have to be

Dark Forces - Yes first I played brilliant game even without sabers (Grew up on this along with Quake, Doom, and Duke Nukem 3D :D)
Jedi Knight II Jedi Outcast
Dark Forces 2: Jedi Knight
Jedi Academy
 
Nights of the Old Republic 1 and 2, are by far the best Star wars game thats ever been produced but as you said FPS, the jedi knight series gets my vote :)
dont for get to check out Mysteries of the Sith for JK1.
