Hi all

I'm looking for a steering wheel stand for my Logitech Driving Force Pro. It will be used on a relatively thick carpeted floor. The choices seem to be:

Has anyone got one of these? If so was it worth the investment? At the moment my wheel isn't used as I no longer have a desk near my PS3/TV. I'm willing to spend the money on any of these but want to get the best one for my environment. I've seen plenty of good things about the Wheel Stand Pro.

Hi

I have the wheelstand pro for my 360 wheel it only took 3 days to arrive its def worth the investment imo the wheel is very stable on it.

Cant give you advice but Id like to know what you end up with. Got a G25 myself and did have it on a foldaway B&D Workmate but think I need a 'nicer' stand since this directly relates to me using my wheel in the first place...

Wheelstandpro user here,so i can,t vouch for the others, very happy with it though, folds away quickly, and neatly beneath my desk.
DFP user by the way.

Can anyone tell me the dimensions of the stand with a G25 in it when folded? Want to see if it slides under a bed when I dont want to play it - dont have that much height to deal with...

Already had a few emails from the sellers saying it has been despatched today and should arrive in around 4 working days (new year depending of course!). They will email tomorrow with a tracking number :D

Stand arrived yesterday (3 days late thanks to a combination of customs / weather / parcel force) from Poland. Took a little under 10 minutes to setup and I have to say it is an excellent piece of kit.

The unit is quite heavy but not so that you can't move it between rooms easily when folded up. When folded it occupies much less space which was part of the reason for buying it.

Thanks to the weight and rugged construction, the unit is very sturdy when in use. It hardly moves even with the force feedback going and a quick counter steer trying to avoid a wall!

Is it worth £89 inc delivery? The answer will be yes for one main reason... it will allow me to use my previously dormant steering wheel once again. This stand is everything I wanted from it and has certainly exceeded my expectations. Thanks to everyone who recommended it.

Cheers mate - my reasoning for wanting one too - just always feels a lot of dough for what amounts to some steel tubing - Im not particularly cheap, just frugal :p

Wondering how sturdy this is with the G25 FF motors...

I'd love to have one of the Playseats that I have seen around the web.

Shame I can't find a website or store that actually sells them in the UK.

Game have been sold out for a while.

One thing I forgot to say was that I've been using this on a thick piled carpet. And at no point did I feel it was unstable in the slightest. Nor have banged my knees on the central pole.

Just ordered a Wheel Stand Pro for my MS Steering Wheel. I have been trying to find suitable/comfortable solutions to use my steering wheel with no avail so hopefully this will solve my problems.

Yep the standard one is compatible with all Logitech wheels looking at the manu website - you only need the additional plate for the G25/G27 as they have seperate gearboxes from the main wheel unit...
