Best SUV £10k-£13k

We're now looking at 2014 Range Rover Sports. 3.0SD v6 diesel, HSE dynamic spec. Above the budget she wanted but saw it and fell in love with it, so we're having a look. Can't hurt to test drive.

Are they reliable? The engine's I gather are reliable but SD spec?
What about the air suspension? I see the models had a lot of recalls so need to make sure they're done.
 
Kuga MK2 will fit a full size pallet in the back fwiw.

I know as used it to bring home a stack of pallets from work to build a fence with :)

(And will do 8 foot lengths of timber - as long as you can get them between front seats)

That engine has a design flaw that causes the crank bearings to rotate and block the oil supply. This then causes the crank to seize followed by catastrophic engine failure.

Pretty much the least reliable thing you could buy!
