best sw for backing up mydocuments onto external harddrive?

Can anyone recommend some s/w which automatically backs up certain folders whenever an external harddrive is plugged in???

I am not 100% sure on this but I do believe that Acronis True Image can do this. Check before you buy though. They do have a 15 day trial or something for their latest version(10).

SyncToy in the General Utilities And Other Applications section will do this for you, to do it automatically simply set it up in "Scheduled Tasks" (this option is free).

If you wish to pay for something then Second Copy 7 is very good.
