Well from this thread i rekon my best bets gonna be a TFT, so which is going to yield the best results?

I have been looking at the Dell 2407 FWP, are there any better alternatives?
Also does anyone have pictures of their set up using a TFT?

Cheers.

For the 360? Either get the 2407 of a HDTV. My NEC 20WGX2 is fine for temporary gaming (it's by far the best 20" screen available) the incorrect aspect ratio is a pain.

I got a Nec 20WGX2 for my 360 Its fine for me I ain't really seen a 360 on a HD tv yet so I don't know any different

Should have said, no more than £450ish ideally, preferably 24" aswell,,,

2407fwp seems to be the obvious choice atm just wondered if anyone could offer an alternative.

Ok an alternative if your not fussed about going mega huge and want to save some cash.http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/2006/07/07/samsung_syncmaster_215tw/1

And a quote from that review, bare in mind the price stated here is around release way before the recent price cuts:
NEC's MultiSync 20WGX sells for around £410 including VAT, while the SyncMaster 215TW is around £30-50 more, depending on where you purchase from. Having used both screens, I would have to say that the higher price that the 215TW comes with is money well spent. The image quality is slightly better, and the connectivity options are in another league altogether. Probably the only downside to the 215TW is the lack of USB 2.0 connections and if you can live without those, there is no reason to look beyond the SyncMaster 215TW at the moment.

Just so happens to be on offer here this week. http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MO-044-SA £234.99 inc VAT

However if you want big but not a HDTV then the 2407fwp is the way to go as others said.

The 215 has pretty bad input lag, no?

Ask this question on avforums on ocuk monitor forums for better opinions.

Haven't come across any suggestion of that yet, but then I have only read a couple of reviews and forum topics not finished my research fully.

*Edit* seems like your right but even worse the problem spreads across many tft's not just that model :( looks like I'm staying with my old faithful crt.

Your right that the Monitor section is the place to ask about this stuff.
