Best thermal compound?

As the title says lads

since its been quite toasty recently my temps have gone up

whats the best thermal comnpound i can use on my cpu?

ill spend about 10 quid

i have the amd x4 955 be c3 and its hitting about 75 degrees overclocked at 3.9ghz

Perhaps mentioning what heatsink you have would be better (as that may be the problem of the high temps).

As for thermal paste check stulid's thermal paste comparison thread to see which is best (I think the MX-2 or Gelid one won).

Shame OCUK don't have Thermalright ChillFactor 3 as it's better than the MX-2 or Gelid GC-Extreme paste.

Will have to give ChillFactor 3 a try. Been using MX4.. Used Phanteks supplied on it.

The Phanteks thermal paste is also very good.

Definately working very well for me.

Was surprised how big a tube they supply. Not a lot in it, but enough for a couple of installs
