Best tool box/kit for building computers - £20-30

I can do better than that! You only need one screwdriver. A "normal" philips screwdriver. Get a mid priced one for less than a fiver. Does the job perfectly.

Not sure why this warranted another thread.

£20-30 does not buy you tools worth buying for a whole set tbh.

Buy quality bits individually that you need.

I still use a magnetic changeable bit screwdriver set that I bought in Woolies over 10 years ago for a fiver, despite having a shed full of higher quality tools. I has a hollow handle that is great for storing screws while I rebuild stuff :)

(i should know the answer to this but dont)

what is the correct head type for normal computer screws?

I have 1 screw driver that is perfect and fits almost any computer case screw, but others that work but are not perfect fits so can dammage hard to remove screw heads...

Go to halfords....buy some propane and go BOOM.

Only joking :p

Pop to halfords and grab a standard size professional series screwdriver.
Sometimes they do a deal on a small selection of tools....grab a 1/4 drive ratchet and a 6mm socket (standoff size) for like £5....if you manage to get a professional series ratchet, it will have a lifetime warranty.

My kit contains a pz2 screwdriver ( perfect fit ) and a flat head driver ( for older kit ) a pair of side cutters for cutting ties. It's laptops where its a bit more fun as the screws are a darn site smaller! pz0 or pz1 for them usually.
