Hi,
I need to download a few iso's, so makes sense to use torrents. been ages since using torrents, so whats the best client to use?

utorrent?

I've had a few issues with utorrent under windows 7, something about user mapped sections. Other than the very occasional issue, though, its been great.

3 people in my house including me who all use utorrent.....

occassionally you need to open a port for it through your firewall/ router when first setting it up but it could happen to any torrent software

I have problems with uTorrent. It limits my speed to about 20KB/s. I've given it quite a few chances, but it just doesn't want to go above 20KB/s. It thinks my internet connection is too fast for my hard drive, and limits my speed.

No problems with Azureus though, downloaded the same torrents in a breeze at 1.6MB/s.

I believe uTorrent limits your download speed if you set a stupidly low upload speed for it, could this be the problem?

Utorrent is probably the best one out there...very small footprint and isnt such a resource hog.

It will limit your download speed if your upload is set to something stupidly low...i have both uploads and downloads set to unlimited and it works brilliantly well...good thing i have a 20mb line with a 2mb upload so my web browsing doesnt suffer all that much.

uTorrent or Azureus are the only two I ever really used.

For a small file, I sometimes just stick with the one built in to Opera though
