best total security software?

Hi guys. Im wanting to change my total security on my pc.
I am using bitdefender at the moment but its power hungry!.

I thought about norton but have heard bad reviews on it.

What do you guys use ?

as it looks, it looks like Microsoft is the best from that poll, and Kaspersky second.

I don't think there is a "best" but on the whole many people like MSSE (Or Windows Defender in Windows 8) as it's lightweight and well integrated into the OS. I use it but wouldn't say it's as "good" as Kaspersky personally, but then again it's free and hasn't failed me in the ~2 years I've used it.
