Best USB format program?

Hi guys,

Need to format a friends laptop.

Whats the best free program i can put onto a USB stick?

Just go to Administrative Tools---Computer Managment---Select the drive and chose FORMAT...All will be wiped clean.

You could download a linux distribution like http://linuxmint.com/ and put it on USB with Rufus https://rufus.akeo.ie/. When running linux mint, use the "Disks" tool

dban is good and also ccleaner has a drive wiper built into it...7 pass option is more than enough to destroy all data presuming thats what you were meaning?
