As per thread title, what can be had for £650?

This is great thanks! I was looking at AMD, but it seems Intel is now best at this budget.
I do have access to members market and have used it loads over the years, I did consider it for this build. The problem is this is a PC for a family friend and I can't run the risk of purchasing faulty parts. I also want it to be as hassle free for me as possible. I was trying to sway them into just buying a pre-build, but they're already aware that you get better value for money when buying the parts separately.You might be able to manage an AM4 build based on the 5600 but you wouldn't be able to buy a chunk of the stuff via OCUK unfortunately, that said there's really not much between them tbh unless you were hoping to grab a second hand 5700X3D down the line.
If you have Members Market access via this forum you might have some luck putting a request in for a bundle, I've seen a bunch of AM4 related parts go for pretty cheap over the past few weeks.
