Best Value Graphics Card For Dead Space

All the reviews I've seen so far show dead space running far far better on the 260 maxcore than the 4870 - in some cases as much as 50% faster.

The 260 maxcore right now is also the best value for money GPU (if you compare 180.60 v 8.12 drivers).

Why would you need more tahn 60fps in a game like this? there are lots of tearing issues with vsync disabled but I played it VSYNC 60fps constant on my 4870 with no problems at all 1920x1200.
 
He wants the best value for money at around £250 to play this game in particular - with the 260 only slightly more expensive than the 4870 and averaging more than 30% faster in this game its the best value.

If you just wanna play at 60fps with current generation titles then you might as well just buy an 8800GT - no need for a 4870 or 260.

So it looks like the 260-216 is the best bet.

Now this 50% boost...is that at a particular res??
 
Yeah think that was 2560x res :D but even at 1280x its still quite a bit faster. At 1680x and 1920x I think the 260 is ~30% faster in all the benchmarks I've seen.
