As for the question in the OP, the 10600K is by far the best value if gaming is your concern. With some overclocking it matches the 10900K..

I've a 9900K @ 5GHz, and it's plenty fast enough; if I was buying now, it'd be the 10600K.

Also, just get a decent air cooler (I use the Noctua stuff) and you can skip the hassle of water (you won't need it for your purposes, irrespective of what others are claiming on this thread.)
