Best value Sata controller

I need an Sata controller quick and for not too much.

I only plan on using it for 1 hard drive but maybe a 2nd hard drive... not for Raid.
It only has to tide me over for a while so im not too willing to go for an expensive one.

Im going to be using it in an Nforce 4 motherboard, and while i have aPCIe and a PCI slot available if it matters. Im going to be using a 320gb 7200.10 Seagate barracuda on it... so NCQ is a must.

Out of the Sata controller on ocuk what do you guys think is the best bearing in mind i want a cheap option if possible.

Take it you've run out of ports on the board itself?

Hopefully at some point i will be able to return my motherboard or i will just upgrade but until then im thinking a pci card will solve my problems.

Nevermind...if you really must buy a controller card, I'd suggest the Adaptec AAR-1210SA SATAConnect Serial ATA Controller (CC-012-AD).

No ncq i see.... would that have much of an effect?

And it was a certain norwegian etailer beginning with K which has .ie and .co.uk branches.... and i was unenlightened at the time.
