Best way of connecting gpu blocks?

I currently have a 7970 lighting under water using a EK waterblock and another reference msi 7970oc needing a waterblock. I was thinking of going for the the XSPC Razor block which matches my cpu block.

Do the XSPC Bridges work with different waterblocks as my 7970 Lightning block is a EK block or would I be better going for a EK block for my Reference card aswell and using a EK Bridge?

Also the Mayhems fluid in my system has only been in there about 2 months do you think it will be ok to drain it out and re-use/top it up?
 
The XSPC links work only with XSPC blocks, same with the EK bridges, you could always link them with normal hose and compressions providing there is enough gap between them.

As for fluid, i change mine every time i drain that's mainly due to laziness though. The fluid will be good to reuse, providing its not gunked up etc (what it shouldn't be!)
 
I think sometimes using fittings are better as you can see the flow while running and make changes easier.
Bridges need more time in fitting as I tried crushing an O-ring without noticing and spilled all over the place when leak testing. That was total nightmare!
 
Just had this email back from Ek:

If you would like to use a bridge, between your two video cards all cards and waterblocks needs to be an exact match.
In your case with two different waterblocks you would need to use a series of fittings and adapters with some custom cut off tube to connect it in to sli water build.

So looks like I'm going to use L-bend fittings. Now to decide which block.
 
Ive just used a XSPC bridge to connect the 2 XSPC blocks on my cards and I doubt the bridge would work with a EK block.

I bought 2 bridges and have a EK block on my 6990 will go offer the bridge up see whats what.
