Best way to clean out your case?

Hi all,

Was taking a few pictures of my setup earlier and I noticed it needs a major dust, I have 9 fans in my stacker and they dont half pull in some crap.

Anyway how do you clean your case? Obviously its important that you dont damage any of your components or get any static in to the case, so what method do you use?

I used to use an anti static cloth that I got with my thermal take tsunami a while ago, but thats had its day now.

Its time for some new ideas.

Cheers

I use the hose on my dyson and take extra care when hovering round fragile componets.Also when cleaning fans i use the brush attachment to get into all the nooks and crannies,great for awkward areas in the case. :)

Ok girls listen up

Get one pair of your mrs's tights cut a square out of them attach to your
intake fans with an elastic band, hey presto minimal dustage in case

If you cant attract Women simply use your mams tights ;)

Does the missus not look funny with tights that have big holes in them. :p ;)

If you haven't got access to a compressor, I guess you could take your pc in your car and give it a blast (from a distance) with an airline at a garage, most of em are free too!

my computer doesnt need cleaning, its not on the floor so it doesntt get taht dusty, {snip}
I hear you! Opened my case this morning to do my regular monthly dust-up and suprise-suprise it was clean! Moved it about a month ago from the ground to a slightly higher place/desk :D

EDIT: WD-40, any opinions? Squirt some few drops now-&-then inside the fan bearings and around the blades. Then either let it drip or evaporate out and wipe any excess with a clean cloth.

Not on the fan blades, but I do do it to the fans once a year or so if they get to that age, just MAKE SURE it all evaporates and is ok, as in elave them out of your PC for a day or two.
