Best way to destroy a load of CDs?

Lol that was a joke right?! What's leaving them in water supposed to do?!

Anyway, I seriously wouldn't recommend going the microwave route... not if you've got LOADS of CDs that is....

As fun as it is, watching the cool lightshow, you'll probably end up knackering your microwave!

You can buy shredders that can do CDs... do you have anything like that at work or something?

Failing that... put them in a few bin bags, go outside, then smash the hell out of them with a hammer or similar! (surely that's more fun than watching them fry anyway!)
 
Keep them behind a lock as a backup ?

Any ways get a needle or anything sharp, destroy the label/reflective surface or even the back if you press hard enough, and one scratch will finish every cd.

Water does nothing, I often used water to wash my cd's when I was small and it did nothing.
 
i've found a cheap solution. I'm putting them through my shredder.

While it isn't shredding them it's giving them some pretty good damage and surface scratching which should do the job.
 
Wipe them down your crack so that one side is smeared with a tiny bit of poop.

Guaranteed no one will want to touch them then!

CDs as good as destroyed.
