Best way to destroy a wasp's nest?

coucil exterminator they do it for free..next day thing...
sealing the hole up is a bad idea as they will burrow through brickwork etc, strong little buggers

Aerial nests

Place a cloth bag over the entire nest and quickly tie it off at the top; as you draw in the tie, pull the nest free. The bag should be well sealed. Set the bag in a pail of water; drop a rock on the bag to keep it fully submerged.
Ground nests

If the entrance to the nest is easy to see, it can be blocked using a large, clear bowl. Use caution as there may be more than one entrance to underground nests. Set the bowl over the nest entrance and work it into the ground a bit so there are no exit routes for the wasps. This will confuse the wasps, but they won't try to dig a new entrance. The bowl should remain in place for several weeks.
Underground or inside wall nests

Nests in wall voids or underground are more difficult to remove, and should be left to the professional. (If you detect a wasp nest in the wall, do not try to eradicate it from the outside. This will force them further into the house.)
When hiring a professional to treat wasp problems in the home, ask what methods will be used. A non-toxic alternative to insect sprays and dusts is vacuuming. Some prefessional exterminators are equipped with specially adapted vacuum cleaners to draw out the wasps, which are then sold to pharmaceutical companies who extract the venom for immunotherapy.

get iCraig to do an insulting cartoon of the Queen wasp and print it on a T shirt . Dance in front of the nest to attract their attention so they chase you then dive into the nearest river so they all drown.

ps all the council do is phone 118 118 then charge 10% on top , been there - been stitched :(

Lower small amounts of TNT wrapped in sugar into the nest (by the fuses), a bit at a time, do this 6 times a day for 2 weeks. The wasps will think you're being nice to them, but then you tie all of the fuses together......light the fuses......kaboom....job done.....NEXT

Was it a Dyson? That'd be awesome to watch, seeing the wasps spinning round and round inside that cyclone thing.

It was a dyson, but it wasn't too awesome, when they started flying around in the cyclone thing lmfao. So had to get the Hoover, Hoover which did the job.

EDIT: Smoke them, seriously, they go crazy, or light some marijuana up, and feed it through the whole so they all get stoned. I'd love to see a wasp flying around when stoned.

It isn't fun, especially when they get angry and all you hear is the buzzin getting louder and louder. One time we had one so bad, wasps were getting into our attic. Nothing good old dad can't sort out 8D.

I can't remember what he exactly did, but it involved wood, fire, and smoke. And the queen was fat lolfat.

Sounds very difficult to deal with properly, will probably end up needing a specialist. I am liking the vacuum idea though, might be worth a try. As far as sprays and things go, you can purchase a spray that sprays out around -56 degress and is intended to cool components while soldering, might be able to deep freeze them ;) . Also found out recently, you can kill nearly any insect with a fly swatter; in mid air! It knocks them out at least with a good swipe. Very useful, arm yourself with one if you go near the nest again :p

We just had a quick go at it, we got some insect powder and put it in a fairy bottle, and then squirted it down a piece of tubing into the entrance. Time will tell whether it did the job or not.
