Best way to dust off GPU?

Gave my whole PC a good hoover yesterday, never had any issues! never touch anything with it though, just use it to pick up the loose dust, is it a static issue that people worry about?

compressed air and a paint brush
This. Compressed air will get most of the dust, but over time I find a thin layer of very fine dust builds up on some surfaces, usually those facing upwards like the back of a graphics card. A few gentle brushes from a clean (unused) paint brush will have it looking like new.

I use a paintbrush and a hoover for every thing PC .

The paintbrush does the physical touching while the hoover sucks in what it moves into the air.
