I switched over from my XSPC bay res to this EK one, so ignore the mess of the drain plug, this will be fixed!
However, now it just looks really messy and I want some tips to tidy it up!

Here's my proposition with some fittings

The 90 degree and 45 degree would be the EK Rotary fittings, but it doesn't really solve the problem of messyness that much, so am open to suggestions!

I was going to suggest plastic surgery, but then I read the OP :p

I think it looks good as it is TBH!

But 45's on the CPU would make it look cleaner :)

I'd say, have two 90 dgree fittings connecting the res to the pump, then go from pump to gpu, then gpu to cpu, then cpu to rad, then rad to the top of the res.

remove the drain port, and have the pump going to the gpu from the front of the pump top not the top

He's akent he T line out

Also, i'd use white fluid :)

Kii, check my wanted tread again please :)

I'd be tempted for some different coloured fluid in the res....

You could make a feature of the white tubing and go for pastel white fluid in the reservoir....

Then maybe when changing the fittings, swap the silver/chrome compression fittings for black 45's..... so they all match - and have that whole black and white thing going on.

Maybe throw in one of these also....

Or possibly.... think about having the pump in the cellar of the case... hidden out of the way with the ugly drain line.

Down the line, swap the rear back fan and the radiator fans for ones with white blades.... All in all that'd look pretty swish!

yes, but that can be stopped easily. Also depends on what setting your pump is running at

Currently on max setting, though I imagine that's probably overkill!

I think I'll probably go for the white fluid, the angle fittings and get that bitfenix power adapter! May get other extensions too!

Ty for the help so far, should have another 5850 coming along soon which will do me for a while!

Tidied it up a bit so far:
  • Added braided mobo cable
  • Added braided gfx cables
  • Added another 5850 (want a waterblock for it)
  • Got SOME 45 degree fittings, looks a lot better already!

Here's some plans:
  • 4 more 45 degree angle fittings coming tomorrow
  • 7 more nickel plated EK fittings coming tomorrow so theyre all black!
  • An additional 5850 waterblock
  • Another crossfire cable thing
  • Find somewhere to get a braided molex cable for the sound card
  • Add another 140 rad in the bottom slow by the PSU to allow for the additional 5850 waterblock
  • Possibly change the to radiator so I can have the intake one side and the out on the otherside to make it neater!

That's it for now :D much more pleased with it, the cables make one hell of a difference, but then the price tag associated with them is also quite a shock!

Looks nice!

How about once the second 5850 block is on, putting 90's on the bottom of the block and pump (apologies if thats a 90 already on the pump, can't make it out). I like 90 degree fittings and straight running lines :D

Which braided cables did you go for, NZXT or Bitfenix?

Bitfenix 24Pin and nzxt 6pin cables :) can't find a mOlex cable in white anywhere :(

You're right it's a 45 but will change to 90 once I find a block :)

The cables on the otherwise of the motherboard tray are hideous, took a while to manage them so I could actually close the side window lol!

Forgot to add, bit disappointed with the braid on the nzxt it's like a plastic material and the bitfenix are more a fabric texture but in the case luckily you can't tell!

Did you find the Bitfenix ones to be of better quality? (nevermind just noticed your second post!!) Heard quite a few folk say they are better. Found my white NZXT ones to be quite stiff, seem to keep reverting back to the the shape they were in the packet!

I'm really excited about my upcoming and first WC loop, yet still I haven't thought about the little things to use like fittings, tubing, fluid etc..

Still trying to find another 5850 Waterblock :(

Apart from that, now running eyefinity :)

(will have to get a picture)

Also peripheral-wize, changed over to a Steelseries Sensei and CMStorm Trigger, both fantastic products!

another idea u could do to tidy the loop up abit is move the res to back of just above the psu and turn the pump then that would tidy the loop up better and shorten the loop alittle as well then have the t line between the res and pump to drain
