Best way to install new GPU into PC that's running on an iGPU?

As title really, what's the best route to uninstall the iGPU then install the discreet card? Never had onboard like this before?

Disable it in BIOS. It should do automatically when a PCI-E graphics card is plugged in though.

You don't have to, you might want to try out Lucid virtu or MVP, if you get bored.

Nah. If it's disabled due to PCI-E card plugged in it's fine.

Just plug and play! If your MoBo supports Lucid virtu your iGPU will add to your GPU performance in applications. If it doesn't your bios will just disable it. Leave it enabled IMO if it does support it, adds about 5-7% in benchs etc.

you might as well uninstall the driver, since you wont be using the files and registry entries anymore

i didnt do anything but stick my new card in and install the drivers for the card. it worked straight away.
