Best way to install RAM?

If its a fresh build i tend to install the CPU and memory before installing the mobo. Sometime i put the cooler on as well depending on what cooler i using.

This time I installed my ram before attaching the CPU cooler and before putting the motherboard into my case, but if I am just swapping RAM or just adding to it I just put it straight in without worrying about removing anything else.

With my previous akasa eclipse 62, i more or less installed every component on the slide out mobo tray.

Unfortunately in my new case the mobo tray is fixed in place, means installing the board first before adding any components.

Yeah, its a real bother when you have to remove the motherboard just to install hardware. Now most new computer cases have a CPU backplate cover where you have access back of the motherboard.

If it's a fresh build it goes in the motherboard outside the case.

CPU, then RAM, then cooler onto motherboard, then motherboard into case.
