Best way to remove tape residue on fridge.

Mr Sheen furniture polish works brilliantly to remove residue from stickers etc. Comes right off with very little scrubbing.

We had the same on a new dishwasher and washing machine and it was gone in seconds

Open all windows in kitchen. Liberal application of WD40. Wipe clean with micro fibre cloth. Spray with Cillit Bang to remove WD40 residue. Light scented candle in kitchen to remove WD40 smell.

Thanks guys I used most of your methods, used WD40 to get rid of the residue and some tape to remove the little bits of tape still stuck on. I also had a vodka lime and lemon to help take the edge off.

I'd try the following until you find one that works

IPA
WD40
White Sprite
Acetone
Light Fluid
GooGone

Wd 40 is great for cleaning I use on pc cases and plastics .. dont use on screens though it can take the surface coating off (so I have read not tried it for obvious reasons)

Pee/Urine should do the job, the ammonia should get rid of that tape residue in no time.

Drink the vodka beforehand to get the courage to carry this out.

WD-40 I used on glass. Not sure I would use on stainless steel - oil smearing would be a right pain to remove. Stainless steel is a git to keep clean at the best of times.
