Got my new car on Monday having forgot to ask the dealer to not stick one of their stickers in the back window. It seems to be quite well stuck on so whats the best way to get rid of it without leaving mess?
very carefully with a sharp stanley knife blade and either thinners or the missus nail varnish remover. or if you dont want to go down the blade route warm it up with a hair drier on low ,whilst pulling it gently from one side.

A knife does not sound like a good idea to me lol, probably end up scratching the window. Won't the hair dryer method leave loads of stuff on the window?
or i did have one mate who took his new car back to the dealer and asked how much they would pay him to advertise them......after the penny dropped the valeter was told to remove it.
its not the knife its the blade. if you go to a certain diy store you can buy them with a small handle so not to cut. dont forget you are sliding the blade along not cutting. the residue is cleaned with either thinners or nail varnish remover.
This is the method i have used to remove decals from windows before, except i used a sponge
As for a knife, get a stanley knife blade, masking tape one side of it so as not to cut yourself and then use the blade at a very shallow angle to the glass as not to scratch it.
be verry carefull if your using a hari dryer, i used a heat gun (on the lowest setting) to remover the mot sticker from a freind mini and i cracked the screen, i dident touch the gun to see how much hotter than it is than a hair dryer, just a quick warning tho.
i now oe him a windscreen
