Don't know if there is a east way to do this.
but my MBP is from 2009 and it's never had a upgrade or anything, also on there is a lot of old work and stuff that I no longer need.

I would like to tidy it up, although my software is licenced I no longer have the install media or keys. It was bought with a business which has now gone.

So on there I have office for Mac , iLife iWorks and some other stuff.

Is there an easy way to clean it up, and should I move to the new os?

Cheers

cough up for Mavericks and follow this: http://macpaw.com/support/cleanmymac/knowledgebase/how-to-clean-install-os-x-mavericks-on-my-mac

Went through and deleted stuff I didn't want, Went from having 30Gb free to 120gb Free.

Upgraded to Mavericks no problem and all my stuff is still there.
Just wondering if I should go from 4gb to 6gb RAM

It wouldn't hurt. OSX releases generally get more rather than less demanding with each iteration.
